FCA, Evan Moog

I am so lucky to have the opportunity to be an FCA leader starting this semester. FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It is a unique ministry that tries to appeal to the varsity athletes here on campus. I had been going to FCA for a while and even was being discipled by another leader for a semester before I became a leader myself. I am so glad that I get to have this experience on this campus and have an impact on people's lives. I was even able to share my testimony and give a talk at one the meetings. I have learned a lot about how my faith is so much more than me believing and can have an impact on the people around me. How I act and have confidence in the Lord can either destroy or create new life through Jesus Christ. I feel nervous sometimes about the pressure that comes with all those people looking at me, but I also am excited to be able to have that influence and maybe even help some people come to know Christ on a personal level.
