In Lane's book, he discusses the factors that make an ordinary thing extraordinary and vice versa. This made me think about the way i perceive things everyday. Somethings that are ordinary through my observation may be extraordinary to someone else, depending on the outside factors and how they see it. This also made me think about how some things become ordinary through repeated exposure. Something that might seem crazy at first can become more and more normal the more it occurs. This can cause differences in perception between people when coming from different backgrounds or places.
