Robert Lannes: Outside Reading #3
As I have been reading about hauntings in Virginia, I came across another article telling a story that happened in Salem, on Main Street. Apparently during the christmas shopping season, a mother left the house in a hurry to beat the crowds. On her way she realized that she had left her son behind, and turned around, expecting her son to be in tears due to the face that he was claustrophobic. To her surprise, he was content, drinking a glass of chocolate milk. Where it gets weird is that he said that a nice old lady told him that his mommy was going to be home soon, and poured him the glass. The boy told police that the lady was see through, and was the same lady as in the picture in the attic. That woman lived in the house in the 1920's. This story is not as scary and devious as the others. Im not entirely sure if I believe in ghosts, but if they are real, then this goes to show that there are nice ones that exist too. This should be viewed in the ontological approach.
