Tucker Frye- Theatrum Gloriae Dei 4/25

In Lane's book, we read about John Calvin and his description of the world as a theatrum gloriae Dei. He describes the world as a theatre that is created to show off God's many wonders. God creates green grass on hillsides and beautiful mountain lakes so that we can enjoy them. The idea explains how everything God created was put on a "stage" so that we would be further drawn into His love. All of life not only creates divine revelation but also praises with it.
