Robert Lannes: Outside Reading #2

To keep my role going on haunted locations close to Newport News, earlier in the semester, my pledge brother was telling me about this haunted house that is located in Gloucester, that apparently used to be on a plantation that was built in the early 1600's, and was one one of the first houses built in the area.  The house burnt down, leaving many Brick walls and chimneys still standing, and the location is supposed to be very haunted.  The house has made several TV shows on ghosts and paranormal activity.  Supposedly, at night it is noticeably 15 degrees cooler than surrounding areas, and apparitions and noises of slaves coming out from the fields are common.  Also, there is supposed to be a woman that walks down the front steps every night.  Once again, this place should be viewed in the ontological approach, due the the supernatural occurrences.  It isn't a place that I plan on visiting any time soon.
