Outside Reading #1 - Matt Marquand

I recently finished The King of Torts by John Grisham and I was alittle disappointed.  I have read multiple John Grisham novels including The Firm and The Client and really enjoyed them but The King of Torts didn't impress me.  The novel is about a middle aged attorney who is a public defender and makes little money.  He gets the opportunity to start a tort firm sueing big companies and acquires hundreds of lawsuits.  He soon finds himself to be a millionare and enjoying the life of the rich and famous.  Disaster strikes when his clients realize he is using them and start filing their own litigation against him.  He loses all of his money and reputation.  I wold recommend John Grisham as an author but I would not recommend The King of Torts.
