Outside Reading # 3 Matt Marquand
I read an article on CNN that wrote a marine was discharged over online comments about Barack Obama. He was dismissed from the Marine Corps with an "other than honorable" discharge which is a very severe discharge given to marines who commits a serious offense. I am surprised the Marine was discharged immediately, his personal views do not interfer with his duty. He had been a Marine for 9 years and served his country. Even if his personal views are against the President, it doesn't mean it won't serve his country. Personally, I believe he is irresponsible for publishing his opinions on the tea party website and publicly denouncing the President. His previous record speaks for itself and he should have had a trial rather than being discharged immediately.
