Tucker Frye- Jesus Calling 4/25

In my reading of Jesus Calling from the date of April 22nd, the thought for the day was listening to Jesus continually. Jesus speaks to us in every action, if we listen then we can follow Him more closely. The idea of listening to Him at every moment also reflects our trust towards Him. When we are listening and following, then we are trusting Him to lead us in the right directions. Jesus plans on freeing us from a life full of planning. Unnecessary planning causes us to stress and stray from God. Jesus died so that we can be free of worry and doubt. It is only through Him that we can find life abundant and by listening to Him we are able to find this life. The life we should be living is in the pages of the Bible, in the thoughts of our friends, and in the whisperings of the Lord.
