Tucker Frye- The Hunger Games 4/25

I finished the Hunger Games series this semester. The books obviously are very popular and with good reason. What I enjoyed most about the series was the use of Katniss Everdeen as the main character. She is not only the main character but portrayed as the heroin throughout the books. What strikes me most about her character, however, is how imperfect she is. The world of Panem seems to think of her as the face of the rebellion who cannot be touched, and yet she is falling apart. Peeta is thought of as the true hero throughout the books by Katniss and her trainer Haymitch. It is interesting to watch Peeta do things that Katniss should be doing through Katniss' eyes.
