Courtney Pauls- New Quarter Park

When I go home for breaks or the summer, I like to spend some time outside with my dog Harley. Harley is a black lab and she loves to be outdoors. There is a park right by our house that is called New Quarter Park. I like to take Harley there because there are large fields that she can run in. After I play fetch with Harley for a good hour, we like to sit on a bench overlooking Queens Lake. As I sit on the bench, I am just amazed by the beauty of the area. This park is in the back of a neighborhood, but it runs against Queen Lake. If you are outside around the wrong time, you get a nice whiff of the marsh. Since you are in the back of a neighborhood, it is a very quiet park. There are never a lot of people in the park which makes it very quiet and relaxing.
