Jordan Snider-Student choice:Soccer tragedy

In high school I played several sports. These consisted of high school and club soccer, high school and club field hockey, and track.  Unfortunately most of these had overlapping practices and seasons with each other because club was year round, so my body never really got a break. Little did I know I would be paying for the consequences my junior year of high school. In a high school soccer game we were in the district championship with 30 second on the clock when my leg came out from under me and I heard something pop. I could not lift myself off the ground and I knew something was terribly wrong. As the trainers rushed on to the field, the horror on their face made my heart race. I was sent straight to the hospital as my hamstring had completely torn off my hip. This would be the end of me playing multiple sports. Once I finally recovered, I had to make one of the toughest decisions of my life, choosing between two sports I truly loved. I chose field hockey and now am a college athlete hear at CNU.
