"Above all else, sacred place is "storied place"." This is one of Lane's lines from his book that I can really relate to. All sacred places have stories behind them and they can be different for every individual. I can relate to this idea first hand with all of the stories that I relate to sacred place. All of the sacred place that I have entered I have stories for and I know that for every individual that has entered sacred place has their own stories. Sacred place itself has a lot of stories associated with it as well, and that makes sacred place that much more intriguing. Sacred place is often associated with stories because these stories contribute to the sacredness and are personal for each individual.
