Jordan Snider-Lanes third Axiom

   Lanes third axiom was that a sacred place may be tred upon without being entered. I thought this axiom was one of the most interesting because I could apply this to my life. Lane means that a place that is sacred to one person may not be sacred to someone else. In my life I believe the ocean to be a sacred place. Specifically Hatteras Island right off the bridge. Its where I have a connection with God through nature. However, not everyone is going to find this place to be sacred. People will go to this place and play in the water without ever realizing the ritual or meaning behind it. This meaning is important to me, but others may not ever realize its even there.
