Nicolas Maxim: Choice: Brother's Life Changer

About five years ago, I was peacefully sitting at my summer job on a family friends farm, when the most disturbing news that i have ever heard in my life came to me. My brother, my hero, and my best friend had his hopes and dreams stripped from him in the literal 'flash of an eye'. Wood chippings from a lawn mower hit his eye and blinded one of his eyes. This added to me a weight of fulfillment to my life, since my brother was a star baseball player, and me being the little brother playing baseball in his shadow had to step up to his level. This still leaves me with a sense of failure today since I don't believe that I performed well enough to be a success in my brothers mind.
