My older brother is a hiker and he travels around the country all the time, constantly on the move. Every time we talk about hiking stories in class, I am reminded of my older brother and I can't help but wonder if he has had these kinds of experiences too. I've never hiked with him before but when he comes to visit I've noticed that he's very spiritual in the sense that he seems to have "found God." Not in the way that a person might be very religious and church-going, but in the pure sense that he fully understands and is sure about what he believes. I don't know, I suddenly want to ask my brother for hiking stories to see if anything he's experienced out on the trails can be applied to what I have learned in this class.
