"It has become clear to us that liminality is not only transition but also potentially, not only 'going to be' but also 'what may be,' a formulable domain in which all that is not manifest in the normal day-to-day operation of social structures can be studied objectively." When I first read this, I didn't understand what it meant. I still don't have a full grasp on the point. I understand that some things may come to be and other are, but when it talks in context with liminality I dont not fully grasp what it has to do with liminality.
