Tylor Lang Lane's Second Axiom
Lane's second axiom states that sacred place is ordinary place, ritually made extraordinary. What this means is that sacred places can be a place you go to regularly, but because of certain people, practices, or what has happened there before, the place is deemed sacred. A battlefield can be considered sacred place and people drive past them every day. A graveyard is an ordinary place, but because of the holy rituals of burial, it is made sacred and revered as more than such.
