Football, Evan Moog

I have the opportunity on this campus to be a leader in several ways. I got the opportunity out of high school to be recruited to play football and am lucky enough to play for CNU. On this team I have dealt with many hardships, but one of the hardest things I have had to deal with is switching positions this spring from running back to linebacker. This was originally a hard idea for me because I had had a lot of success during the season at running back. I scored 8 touchdowns! But I finally realized that my success is not because of me but because of God and his plan in me. The success that I had on the field was not actually mine but God's through me. This helped me realize that football and my athletic ability was a bigger priority in my life than God and his plan. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to switch positions now, because I got to be with different people on the team and I have more opportunities for where I can play in the fall now. Thank you God!
