Jackie Bond- Watching the sunrise

Watching the sunrise at my grandparents river house is a very sacred thing to me. I have watched it hundreds of times when we were younger when we used to go visit them. Now when we go visit them we still try to get up early and watch it. The sun rises directly over the river in the center of their backyard. Watching the sun's light and its rays reflecting off the river is such a beautiful site. The sun rises slowly, but its also quick because one second it's not there and the next second it is. It is also nice to hear the birds begin to chirp. Overall I think it is a great time and place to clear your head and connect with nature.
