Richard Robertson Pilgrimage 2

Flow

People sometimes enter state extreme productivity. This in this state every action seems to have an immediate following action. There is a fluid moment from one action to another. This continuous state of transitionless action is what Turner describes as flow. The state is one action that , in the end, will serve multiple purposes. There is no pause to consider the next step but only an instinctive an effortless blending of the next step with the previous. I would hope that I can find flow in all aspects of life, but this is not possible. I also would consider experience and flow two different things. I may do something faster and easier because I have experience, but when I have the flow of an action I have come to a new subconscious level of understanding. This level enables me to temporarily master the action and complete it to its fullest.
