Jordan Snider-Lanes Cultural approach

    Newport News is where I have lived my entire life. Despite the crazy news stories we hear weekly, the 5:00 traffic jams, and the bipolar weather, I love it here. When I was a senior in high school trying to figure out where I wanted to go to school, the thought of going somewhere out of state or just far away made my stomach uneasy. This place is where I've grown to be comfortable. Other then field hockey and the great academics, the location of CNU played a major role in my college decsision. I know I will leave it someday, but theres just something about the traditions and culture that make it hard for me to leave. When I graduate college and leave for a job I know as soon as the opportunity arrises for me to come back and visit my family, I know I will be excited and jump right to it.
