Jordan Snider:Image and Pilgrimage in Christian Culture: Pilgrimage

   In Turners book, Image and Pilgrimage in Christian Culture,  he talks alot about pilgrimage and how almost every religion shares that in common. Rather its the jewish, muslims, or christians, almost all of them share the idea of pilgrimage. Turner discusses however, that even those these religions have some similarites, they also share many differences as well. The Muslims worship in the city of Mecca at the Ka'ba and experience a pilgrimage known as the Hajj where they worship Allah. The christians, and jewish do not worship this way, but instead have their own rituals and sacred places.
