Keely Johnson: Lion King

Not the movie, but the person from the trail magic video. I found that movie to be extremely inspirational and it made me want to lace up my boots and get out on the trail. My boyfriend often talks about the couple of weeks he spends each year out on the AT and all I want to do is grab my hammock and hike. I wish it was just as easy to drop everything and go out there for months on end. I wish I didn't have the responsibility of paying bills, or getting an education on time, or making my parents happy, and I could just disappear from the technological world. I want to experience the trail magic and the sense of accomplishment. I want to have a cool trail name and help discover other people's. I want to have dangerous run ins with the wild and mother nature and live to tell the tale. I want an adventure out on the trail.
