Zachary Kuhn: Choice #1 Mountains

When talking about sacred space everyone has that one or many places where they can go and completely relax and feel completely at one with oneself. For me that place is in the mountains. I enjoy camping in the mountains over any other place because of this reason. There is just something about being up there that makes me feel one with the world. I can completely relax and enjoy the nature of the mountain more so then I can anywhere else. Being in the mountains is an almost liminal experience for me, in that being up there I don't feel like im tied to the rest of the world. I can leave the reality of everyday life and enter into this place that is completely my own, and then I can come back being completely refreshed and rejuvenated.
